What is SEO?
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is the process of optimising your website to appear in search results for relevant keywords. The end goal is to appear higher up in search engine rankings, which in turn will increase the quantity and quality of website traffic.
In other words, with SEO we are trying to get your website to appear higher in the search results to increase traffic and improve sales.
Why is SEO important?
SEO is important, as it helps to put your business in front of people who are actively searching for a product or service you sell.
Without the basic SEO elements in place, it's difficult for a search engine to understand your website and therefore, more difficult for your website to appear in search results.
